Abstract
The social web is here. Dialogue has replaced monologue. The conversation is the message. Communities dominate brands. It’s time to join the conversation.
This workshop will provide an in-depth look at how higher education institutions can leverage the full power and potential of social media. Topics will include an examination of social media and why it matters, a review of current tools available, and best practices in higher education. Meet your marketing and recruiting objectives and learn to build and sustain relationships with your constituents through the use of blogs, microblogs, social networks, video and photo sharing, lifestreaming and other social media tools.
