I have been asked to present a 2nd talk at the HighEdWeb 2009 Conference.  The title is “Join the Conversation: Social Media in Higher Education” and is scheduled for Monday, October 5 at 3:45 pm.

I have decided to take a non-traditional approach for this presentation. I will follow the 20/20 format of Pecha Kucha – 20 slides for 20 seconds each for a total time of 6:40 seconds. My talk will focus on what I think are the three main trends we need to think about moving forward with social media in higher education.

The remainder of the time will be for audience conversation and dialogue. I have added an instance for my presentation at Harvard’s Live Question Tool.  Please submit your questions and vote and reply to existing questions to help guide our discussion: http://cyber.law.harvard.edu/questions/heweb09

The goal is to leverage the “Wisdom of Crowds” to get the audience more involved. I look forward to a lively and informative discussion.
